About the role…
Due to expansion and demand, an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Allied Health Assistant within our LifeWorks service.
You will be predominantly working with people post-discharge with significant disability or with clients with long-term disability. The Allied Health Assistant provides support to clients with long-term disabilities in their homes, community locations and our BRAND-NEW onsite technology therapy centre. A significant part of your role will be to provide support to clinicians in the therapy centre and hydrotherapy pool. The successful applicant will work with a multi-disciplinary team and within a client-focused and goal-centered framework.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting LifeWorks clinicians and clients by implementing planned therapy interventions on site and in the community
Supporting LifeWorks to run effectively, maintaining equipment in the tech centre and pool
Supporting clients at our adaptive cycling hub and hydrotherapy pool
