Griffith Base Hospital is a 120-bed facility with 100 hospital care beds and 14 maternity beds including Special Care Nursery. Each year we support approximately 25,000 emergency presentations, 2,500 operations and more than 600 births. We provide a 24-hour Emergency Department (ED) with 15 ED spaces supported by an Intensive Care Unit and telehealth facilities in ED, ICU, paediatrics to connect the team in Griffith with specialists across NSW Health.

About the Role
Allied Health Assistants play a vital role in high quality patient care in Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). Working under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional, the Allied Health Assistant provides clinical and administrative service as directed by the Allied Health Professional according to NSW Health and NSW Health and MLHD policies, procedures, and standards.
Allied Health Assistant working as part of the Physiotherapy Team to provide supported assistance under the guidance of Physiotherapists to both Inpatients and Outpatients at Griffith Base Hospital
