What you'll be doing
Responsible for overseeing daily operations, business management of the multi-disciplinary Ambulatory Care Clinics at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, to ensure a high level of safe, efficient and customer focused ways of working for Staff Specialist /Visiting Medical Officer, Nursing and Allied Health outpatient services.
Ensure the efficient, effective, and professional management of Ambulatory Care Clinics at Coffs Harbour Health Campus Ambulatory Care Hub.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive relevant experience as a practice manager in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policies that apply to the provision of NSW public outpatient services, including expert knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule and its role in non-admitted patient services.
- Experience delivery of change management projects within a healthcare or similar environment.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
- Highly developed and effective management and conflict resolution skills.
- Advanced computer skills utilising varied and appropriate software programs (eg word processing, patient billing and data management systems and spreadsheets).
- Current Drivers Licence and ability to travel as required.
