Shangri-La Sydney is seeking for skilled and motivated Amenity CentreSupervisor to join our Housekeeping Team.
About the Role
The Amenity Centre Supervisor reports to the Executive Housekeeper and is an integral part of the Housekeeping/Amenity Centre Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after.
The Amenity Centre Supervisor is responsible for the ordering, delivery, stocktaking and quality control of the amenities that are delivered to guest rooms. They will also oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the Amenity Centre.
- Directs and assists in assigning daily tasks for Amenity Centre Attendants.
- Is familiar with and adheres to all housekeeping procedures for the issuing of keys,
pagers and control of same. - Responsible for maintaining correct amenity set up plus implementation of any set up
alterations including packages which may be required. - Submit prompt and accurate stock takes and end of the month reports to the
Housekeeping Service Manager or Executive Housekeeper. - Ensures that all interactions with guests are handles professionally and with care
adhering to Hotel’s policies and procedures. - Submits designated reports to the HSK office daily.
About You
- Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written.
- At least 2 - 3 year experience in a large Hotel or similar
- Understanding of workplace practices in Occupational Health and Safety
- Be available to a work a full-time rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays.
