Southport Day Hospital is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team.
Applicants must be RN qualified and have previous experience working as an Anaesthetic Nurse.
- Work Day Shifts only - Monday to Friday
- No nights or weekends
- Part Time – 2 - 3 days per week
- Accredited Day Surgery - Under NEW ownership since March 2023

About Southport Day Hospital: Established in 2010, and under new ownership since 1 March 2023, Southport Day Hospital (SDH) is standalone boutique day surgery located in Southport on the Gold Coast. SDH is a fully accredited, Queensland Health licensed facility, specialising in day only procedures including (not limited to): Cosmetic / Plastic / Dermatological / Surgical Podiatry / Hand Surgery / Vein Treatments and Dental procedures.
About the Role: SDH is searching for a special person to work in theatre in an Anaesthetic Nurse role.

About You - You are a passionate RN with …..
- Minimum of 12 months experience in Anaesthetics in a similar hospital setting
- Strong communication skills
- Current Registration with AHPRA (essential)
- Ability to lead, motivate and support staff in a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility with rosters (day shifts only – Monday to Friday)
- Ability to deliver excellent clinical care to patients
