About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer for their busy location in Maryborough.
This position is part-time 3 days a week, 1 day must be Friday with the remaining 2 days open for negotiation. This is a casual position until end of January 2023
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customers.
- Provide quality support to the business unit through effective use of computer software packages and information systems including Microsoft Office, BEMIR, Ellipse and HP Records Manager
- Effectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.
- Develop and maintain business procedures, manuals, registers and systems that improve and enhance service delivery/business operations
- Receive and respond to a variety of business support requests in the functional areas of finance, work order management, office administration, procurement and maintenance and housing coordination.
- Research and prepare reports, correspondence and other written material as required while ensuring high standards and accuracy when compiling documents or updating records and information systems
- Willingness to work within a fast-paced environment with KPI's and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance
- Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work
- Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives
- Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes
