Our client is a Department within the Queensland Government.

Description

You will undertake a range of duties including:

• Provide timely, helpful and supportive client service (both internal and external) while adhering to the Client Charter and other relevant client engagement standards.
• Provide accurate and consistent information, and/or education assistance, through various media to clients or their agents.
• Analyse, interpret and apply relevant legislation, information and data, exercising sound judgement to make effective decisions, assessments and/or recommendations.
• Efficiently and effectively navigate office computer systems to input, manage, retrieve and analyse information.
• Ensure your work complies with established guidelines, procedures and record keeping standards.
• Actively contribute to the achievement of agreed team performance standards.
• Work collaboratively to identify and promote improvements which enhance client experiences and organisational outcomes.

Profile

• Strong communication ability is essential.
• Experience in a high-volume contact centre environment is preferred.
• Experience in a debt collection / recoveries environment, and/or dispute resolution / negotiation experience, would be advantageous but is not essential.

Mandatory

All candidates must be able to pass a Criminal History Check prior to an offer being confirmed. In addition to this, they must be able to finalise all outstanding SPER matters if they have a current debt with the State.
