Apprentice Auto Glazier

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Apprentice Windscreen Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the repair and replacement of windscreens for all types of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing damaged windscreens on all types of vehicles, including cars, and trucks.
• Assist in the replacement of broken or cracked windscreens with new ones, ensuring proper fit and installation.
• Learn to work with a variety of materials, including laminated glass and tempered glass.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs and replacements under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the repair process and answering any questions they may have.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and replacements.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Interest in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg.
