About the Role:
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Yatala QLD, on an exciting, four-year Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator Apprenticeship.
During your apprenticeship you will be taught on the job all facets of Boilermaking and fabrication of structural steel by qualified mentors.
As part of the apprenticeship your responsibilities include:
- Reading and learning how to interpret detail drawings and specification requirements
- Fabricating structural steel and various metalwork
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Using hand tools, heavy machinery, and welding equipment
- Ensuring work sites are kept tidy and that all paperwork is kept up to date
- Adhering to all OH&S requirements
- Are reliable and committed to a four-year apprenticeship
- Have an open driver's licence
- Are comfortable with taking direction
- Work well in a team
- Are highly motivated and take pride in your work
- Have a willingness to learn and develop
- Have a genuine interest in this field
- Forklift licence
