We are on the hunt for creative and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Signwriting Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable skills in the art of signwriting.
You will be immersed in a supportive environment where learning and growth are prioritised. You’ll have the opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining valuable experience in the workplace in various aspects of the trade while working towards achieving a Certificate III in Signs and Graphics.
With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will be:
- Assisting with the design and production of signage for a range of clients
- Learning about different types of signage and techniques used in the industry
- Developing skills in typography, graphic design, and hand lettering
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members
- Ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Have a passion for art and design
- Good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Have a willingness to learn and develop skills
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
- A high level of motivation and a strong work ethic
- A commitment to completing the apprenticeship Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to take direction
- Car + Licence
