APPRENTICE/TRAINEE COOPER
As a manufacturer of premium oak barrels for the Australian and International Wine & Spirit Industries we pride ourselves on our reputation which has been built over 130 years.
If you are a recent school leaver or looking to leave school, we are offering an opportunity to learn the art of Coopering from a team with over 150 years experience between them.
The successful candidate must be willing to commit to approximately 4 years Apprenticeship to achieve the skill levels required to become a Qualified Cooper.
To be considered you will need to possess the following:-
- Be honest, reliable and have an excellent work ethic.
- Must be physically fit as the position can be physically demanding.
- Possess a good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Embrace a work team culture.
- Hold a current Drivers Licence (or close to gaining one).
- Possess basic proficiencies in Maths and English.
- Understand Work, Safety and Quality procedures.
- Be prepared/able to work overtime.
