The Role

As an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer, working in Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) in the Department of Defence, you will be working on some of the most exciting and complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force.

As an APS5 ILS Officer you will be required, under limited direction, to perform and achieve complex materiel logistics and inventory management work within an integrated product team, in order to manage a critical fleet of Explosive Ordnance to ensure Army capability is delivered on time, within budget and with value for money considerations.

You will be required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

LEOSPO is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch within Land Systems Division which is part of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG). Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in Penrith, Canberra & Melbourne, and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
