The Aviation C4ISREW Training and Support Systems (ACTSS) team, within UHSPO, is responsible for the management, delivery and support of a range of common products and systems across multiple Army aircraft types. The Products and Services are managed in 3 main areas: Aviation Mission Systems, Armament, Life and Ground Support and Training Systems.The APS 6ILS Officer - Sustainment, will play a crucial role in overseeing a small team to ensure smooth coordination of day to day logistics operations. They will exercise both initiative and judgment in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. They will provide detailed materiel logistics technical, professional and policy advice in relation to complex work and contribute to strategic planning, program and project management and policy development.You will need to possess strong leadership skills to motivate and guide your team towards achieving operational efficiency and meeting organisational goals. A focus on Inventory optimisation will be paramount, underpinned by well thought-out stocking policies, cost-effectiveness solutions and streamlined processes.About our Team
The Army Aviation Systems Branch (AASB) purpose is to deliver military aviation systems to the capability managers. AASB is responsible for the acquisition and through-life support of all Army helicopters and tactical unmanned aerial systems through both Project Offices (PO) and Systems Program Offices (SPO) within Australia and overseas.
