Our Federal Government client is currently seeking a professional administration officer to join their fast-paced team.
An as soon as possible start for a 3 month assignment, Full Time hours - Monday to Friday in the Hobart CBD.
Reporting to an Assistant Director, the main responsibilities will be:
- Providing administrative support to a team of assessors, including support needed for meetings, calendar arrangements and scribing.
- Assisting a Business Support Officer to maintain business processes to ensure accurate recording of application data and advice to the Department, and efficiently manage information flow between Departments.
- Working in a virtual environment in a team that works in office locations across Australia, hybrid style of work 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home.
- Strong experience in providing administrative support services
- Proficiency in ICT systems such as Microsoft e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams or similar.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, initiative and flexibility to manage a workload and perform under pressure.
- The ability to quickly understand new processes to support the Exemption Team.
- The ability to act professionally and display the behaviours in accordance with the APS Values and Code of Conduct.
