The work under the Compliance Branch is essential to meeting Skills and Training program requirements, and supports the department in ensuring that students; apprentices; employers and providers are complying with the requirements of a particular program.
APS4 Compliance Officers are required to undertake compliance work that will support the work
of the Branch.
Key responsibilities :
- Undertaking compliance reviews including data analysis and assessing information and records against program
- Assisting with administrative tasks in compliance surveys and reviews
- Providing input to compliance plans to address potential program risks
- Providing accurate and timely input to reports.
- Understand, interpret and apply program compliance requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical skills and the ability to discuss issues with a variety of stakeholders
- Sound information technology skills
- Ability to apply analytic skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Previous compliance, investigation or audit experience
- Experience in implementation of Government programs or policy.
