The Client Engagement and Support Services Division supports the wellbeing of those who serve or have served in the defence of our nation, and their families by partnering with organisations and individuals to help design, implement and deliver effective programs and benefits, which enhance wellbeing of veterans and families; and by providing and maintaining war graves and delivering meaningful commemorative activities to promote community recognition and understanding of the service and sacrifice of veterans.
Duties
Process contractor related invoices for the Division
Entering data accurately and efficiently using finance system and various management information systems
Assist with Preparation of Contracts and Change Orders, records management functions
Delivery of a professional service on various recruitment activities to Management
Engaging with other DVA work areas as required
Redirecting more complex enquires to the CESS Recruitment Manager
Appropriate written correspondence where required
Working collaboratively within a small team environment
Providing administrative support within the Team and assisting in the preparation of relevant resource materials as required
Positive participation in process improvement, team planning and own performance management activities
Manage time, resources and accuracy of work processing to effectively meet agreed targets and performance standards and participate constructively in forward planning.
Other ad hoc duties as directed by the CESS Recruitment Manager
Eligibility

Desirable
Previous experience working in a Human Resources Administration position would be highly regarded.
Notes
There is an immediate requirement for a part time (25 hours per week) position, however the role is being advertised full-time and part time to create a merit pool of suitable candidates for other vacancies that may arise in the department over the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
