Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a APS4 Recruitment Support Officer on a Non Ongoing contract for 3 months with potential extension.
Position Overview
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Recruitment Support Officer is responsible for providing support to the recruitment team and assistance to line areas on recruitment matters within service delivery timeframes.
Responsibilities of the APS 4 may include:
Reviewing and processing onboarding documentation
Issuing letters of offer with accuracy and complying with legislation
Advertising internal vacancies and packaging applications in a timely manner
Use the online eRecruit system, SAP and databases, to manage and track recruitment processes
managing competing priorities and tasks, to ensure deadlines are met
assisting to ensure effective business outcomes are achieved and recruitment best practices are followed
respond to client enquiries from the general public and internal stakeholders
understand and comply with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
Capabilities Required:
Applicants will be assessed against the following skills and capabilities:
High attention to detail and proven accuracy in processing functions
Ability to work collaboratively to respond to changing demands
Strong time management and organisation skills
Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to quickly learn IT systems
Previous experience in Recruitment, Onboarding, Payroll, or stakeholder management will be viewed favourably.
Mandatory Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance.
