This is a key Federal Government Agency that is a Governing Body for policies and legislation that has a strong impact on the running of Australia. They have heavy engagement with other Agencies and Departments whilst managing key tasks and functions exclusive to the Agency.
Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to commence their career in Human Resources as an APS4 Recruitment Officer. Core duties of the role are inclusive if, but not limited to the following;
Liaising with business for the onboarding of permanent and labour-hire staff
Engage with external stakeholders regarding onboarding documentation
Processing on onboarding paperwork
Engage with the security team
Engage with HR teams from other Departments regarding S26 transfers
Develop and distribute letters of offer
Other adhoc tasks as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role of an APS4 Recruitment Officer, you must have relevant experience with the onboarding off staff, qualifications in Human Resources is highly desired, and you must be an Australian Citizen who is willing to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
Candidates who are permanently employed within the APS and are seeking a Section 26 (Permanent Transfer) are also encouraged to apply.
