- APS5 Security Training Administrator role within a federal government agency
- Long Term Contract: Initial 12 Months contract + up to 12 months extension option
- Barton location – NV1 Security Clearance is required prior to commencement
Our client is seeking a Security Training Administrator to support the delivery of Security Policy, Training and Culture Section.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Management of the Security Training inbox providing well considered guidance and timely advice to enquiries from DFAT, government and attached agency staff;
- Administrative support for the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training courses and awareness initiatives;
- Development and maintenance of Security Training content on the intranet, Frequently Asked Questions (faqs), guidance material and Standard Operating Procedures; and
- Effective engagement with key line areas within the Security Branches, Diplomatic Academy, DFAT and attached agencies.
Skills and Experience
- The successful applicant works well in a small team environment, applies self-initiative, operates autonomously, can prioritise workloads in order to meet tight deadlines and has excellent administrative and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in an adult learning environment is desired but not essential.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- To be eligible for employment in this role, you must be able to provide evidence of Australian citizenship and have and hold an Australian Government security clearance at the NV1 level for the duration of the Contract term.
