The opportunity for a capable Architect has arrived! Working on a wide range of projects including places of regeneration, infrastructure and public buildings, the role will assist the studio to evolve, and establish itself as a leading architectural and heritage consultancy practice in Australia. Bring your technical knowledge and 'know-how' to the group, along with an eye for detail and a creative way of thinking. Proven track record of project lifecycles, complex drawing packages, and client management is required. In return, work alongside experts to manage the intricacies of heritage and conservation elements, in-house professional development, and career stepping stones!

Key Responsibilities

Successful running of a scale of projects, principally being refurbishment or alterations and additions to existing (heritage) buildings
Liaise and manage existing and potential clients through all aspects of a project lifecycle
Generate and refine design, prepare project documentation and report writing
Produce design related information and reports, both written and graphic
Co-ordinate and manage internal team members and external specialist consultants, stages or packages
Generate technical and detailed driven solutions
Complete projects to a high standard, on time and to budget
Support the delivery of projects on-site, either through the provision of technical advice or contract administrator

Skills & Experience

Degree qualification in Architecture or Heritage Conservation
Current ARBV Registration (preferred)
3 - 6 years post grad experience
Proven ability to independently manage the delivery of services and projects
Experience working on architectural or heritage advisory projects
Excellent technical knowledge of conservation repair, refurbishment, alterations and additions, adaptive re-use and construction detailing
Experience leading a team, and developing individuals
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
High-level Revit & AutoCAD proficiency
