Our client specialises in the maintenance, conservation and restoration of Australia’s most prominent historic buildings and monuments. They are looking for a documentor to assist on exciting heritage projects in Sydney.
Key Requirements
- Qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant trade background.
- 3+ years local documenting experience
- White Card for visiting construction sites
- Proficient in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
- Experience in Solidworks and Aconex highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to read plans and understand details.
- A sound understanding of construction techniques
- Strong awareness of design systems, processes, and technology.
- Working closely with the Design Manager.
- Producing design documentation / shop drawings that meet the set dates and assigned tasks.
- Having a fluent understanding of the BCA/NCC, the Australian Standards and relevant building codes.
- Uploading and issuing drawings via document registers as required on projects.
