In focusing on delivering modern and sustainable design solutions DM2 Architecture are seeking applications for an experienced Architectural REVIT Technician to support their growing portfolio in Education & Research, Commercial, Hospitality and Retail.
Our Architectural REVIT Technician will be accountable for providing support across the DM2 program of work, responsible for producing accurate and detailed architectural drawings using Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD software. You will work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to bring their creative visions to life while ensuring that the technical aspects of the design are well-executed and code compliant.
Key activities:- REVIT Modelling: Create and maintain detailed 3D and 2D models of architectural designs using Autodesk REVIT.
- Drafting: Generate construction drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, designers, and engineers to integrate design changes and technical requirements into REVIT models.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on REVIT models and drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies and errors.
- Documentation: Maintain organised project file and documentation libraries, and assist in the preparation of Design approval and Construction documents.
- BIM Coordination: Collaborate with other consultants to ensure seamless Building Information Modelling (BIM) integration across various project phases.
- Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on the latest REVIT software features, best practices, and industry standards, and share this knowledge with the team at fortnightly workshops.

Skills and Experience:- A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as an Architectural REVIT Technician in an architectural firm .
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk REVIT software. (AutoCAD and Enscape experience beneficial)
- Strong knowledge of architectural drafting and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
