The Role:
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the Area Manager’s role is to pro-actively manage our customer relationships and interactions in the Central West & beyond. In addition to this other key activities include:
Maintain existing sales revenue, ensure customer contracts are executed and renewed on ongoing basis.
Seek and develop new business throughout the region
Work closely with our customers to drive greater efficiency & effectiveness into our customers’ and our business, creating a win-win for both parties.
Explore further opportunity for new sales of Visy’s full suite of products
Communicate with Operations, Customer Service, Technical and Management team to ensure quality & delivery performance meets and exceeds customers expectation.
Effectively manage all aspects of our Orange Store including stock maintenance, local & intrastate freight management and erecting equipment operation.
Be responsible for the health & wellbeing of self and staff members
Ensure safe work practices and tidy housekeeping are practiced by self and staff in line with company policy
What will you bring to the team:
High level skills in customer sales & service, a natural curiosity and a desire to develop a deep understanding of our customers’ businesses to further integrate Visy solutions with customers.
Effective communication skills in line with Visy Values
The ability to multi-task across all facets of Visy’s business in the Central West on a continued basis including problem solving and forward planning
Knowledge of and experience working in the industrial & agricultural landscape of the Central West region
Must have a valid drivers license. Forklift license desirable.
Can work flexible hours to meet requirements
