The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The Akubra Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities within a designated territory, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with retailer partners and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess a passion for our brand, exceptional sales skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise market share within the assigned territory.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
  3. Conduct regular sales visits and product presentations to retail partners, providing product knowledge and support to drive sales.
  4. Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  5. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  6. Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and meet customer expectations.
  8. Represent Akubra at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network with potential partners and promote our brand.

Your Experience

  1. Proven track record of successful sales experience in a similar field, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  3. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
  5. Knowledge of the retail landscape and distribution channels within the assigned territory.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
