Our client is one of Australia's most well regarded and respected family businesses in the drinks industry. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their sales team and service the North Shore and Central Coast of NSW. The successful applicant will be responsible for achieving sales targets, volume distribution goals and customer growth mainly across retail and where identified, on-premise customers. This current territory is recognised as a high performing area with a very strong customer base and requires someone who is flexible, self driven and willing to adapt to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and service relationships across both on and off premise channels with a main focus on independent retail customers
Increase and drive sales and product identity within the given territory
Ensure in-store promotional activities are executed, timely and effectively
Negotiate a competitive advantage with customers and aligned with sales targets
Ensure brand visibility and that products are professionally presented
Negotiate retail promotions and listings and secure prominent floor and fridge space
Identify opportunities and ideas for business and brand exposure
Key Attributes:
Ideally proven sales experience achieving targets in liquor or FMCG
Knowledge of territory would be considered favourably
Self driven, enthusiastic and excellent communication skills are deemed essential
Excellent planning and prioritising skills
IT literate and well versed in new technology systems
