The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The Akubra Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities within a designated territory, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with retailer partners and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess a passion for our brand, exceptional sales skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise market share within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Conduct regular sales visits and product presentations to retail partners, providing product knowledge and support to drive sales.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and meet customer expectations.
- Represent Akubra at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to network with potential partners and promote our brand.
Your Experience
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in a similar field, preferably in the fashion or apparel industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets.
- Knowledge of the retail landscape and distribution channels within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
