As ARMO Technician you will inspect, analyze, assemble, and test a broad range of complex subsea controls equipment used for major offshore Oil and Gas drilling and production systems. The capacity to work independently and demonstrate initiative is a requirement. Application of safe working practices and quality control processes is paramount.

As a ARMO Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading / interpreting assembly blueprints.
  • Interpreting of drawings, bill of materials, work instructions and procedures is an essential element of the job.
  • Inspecting visually on subsea equipment and identify wear and faults as per standard operating procedures
  • Assembling electrical and mechanical subsea components as per company procedures
  • Performing and ensuring safe proof pressure testing, leak testing & flushing of control systems to AS4059 requirements.
  • Completing SRI, SRT and FAT of Subsea Controls equipment
  • Finding fault control systems electrically and mechanically
  • Using of Subsea Topside software programs to control subsea devices


Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have at least 5+ years of experience in hydraulic fitter, instrument technician and Have experience with servo hydraulic systems   
  • Have knowledge of PLC systems and Control Systems (DCS, PLC)
  • Possess excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Possess a high standard of workmanship with an eye for detail
  • Be a team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures
  • Be flexible to travel to remote locations for periods of time in field environment if required
  • Be able to work with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary work groups
  • Possess proficient English language skills, both verbal and written
