About the Role:
We're seeking a dynamic Business & Financial Services Officer to join our team in coordinating specialised financial and administrative functions.
The Business & Financial Services Officer is responsible to the Executive Manager, Business & Financial Services (via the Manager, Business & Financial Operations). Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate various financial and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage accounts receivable and IES debtors, including debt resolution and accurate record-keeping.
- Develop and maintain management reporting systems to support debt recovery and financial processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external clients regarding financial inquiries.
- Support administrative functions for key systems such as the International Student Management System (Salesforce) and Tour Planner System (TPS).
- Coordinate monthly reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
- Manage the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) function efficiently and maintaining the accuracy of student membership details on the Salesforce.
- Build and maintain effective networks with stakeholders and government departments.
- Contribute to the development of work instructions and knowledge articles.

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO3 $66,590 - $70,968 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
