The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assessment Engineer to join our team! This role contributes to the delivery of engineering assessment of development applications, monitoring of development permits and provision of expert advice to all stakeholders. This role is within our high performing, collaborative and supportive Engineering Assessment Team. The ideal candidate will be diligent in their approach to work, enjoy a fast-paced environment and be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- undertake the assessment of planning and operational works applications;
- provide expert engineering assessment of development applications and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders;
- prepare reports and written advice, coordinate and negotiate infrastructure works and monitor permit conditions and operational works; and
- be committed to providing a positive customer experience for all stakeholders.

Eligibility requirements
- You hold a Civil Engineering Degree or other relevant tertiary qualification with experience in Civil Engineering works associated with the Development Industry
- You have a current C Class Drivers' Licence
