We are happy to be working with one of the states fastest growing councils to secure the services of a Asset Data Officer on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
This local authority is seeking a gifted professional to carry out the following tasks.
- Undertake GIS data capturing.
- Interpret as constructed engineering drawings for recently constructed residential developments.
- Translate information into spatial format.
- Working with infrastructure ranging from roads, kerbs, footpaths, stormwater, wastewater, trees, buildings and playgrounds.
This position would suit a candidate with the following qualifications & experience.
- Experience in MapInfo preferred although other GIS formats are acceptable.
- A degree or associated diploma in the field of Engineering/GIS.
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written.
