THE ROLE
The Asset Planner & Scheduler is responsible for delivering an APLNG Upstream Operations and Maintenance plan which will ensure works across field, gas processing facilities, and water treatment facilities can be carried out safely and efficiently as per the Manage Asset Core Process.
The role is to identify, develop, implement and improve the delivery of planned and unplanned operations and maintenance tasks for the site ensuring that the right work is carried out at the right time.
This role is on site on a 2 week cycle - 14 working days then 14 days off.
Main key responsibilities include:
- Develop the Operations and Maintenance Plan by planning and estimating work scopes that include identifying risk, tools, parts/materials, equipment, and labour needs working closing with site leadership teams to ensure optimal executability
- Monitor due dates of SCE PMs (Safety critical equipment preventative maintenance) and schedule work to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with site supervising teams to ensure work crew capability, simultaneous work fronts and equipment status align with the schedule
- Support Major maintenance and TAR planning team to integrate major works and campaigns into the plan, and participate in post-campaign lessons learnt activities
- Input into monthly /annual budget forecast for planned and unplanned work. Provide analysis and trending of unplanned work to assist if more accurate financial forecasting and supply chain planning
- Provide the site readiness support through the checking of material, resources and work packs in the week before work is planned to be executed
Is This You?
Essential requirements;
- Previous planning / scheduling experience highly regarded
- Proven competency in using computer based management systems, particularly with SAP or equivalent CMMS, MS Office Suite, Primavera P6 or equivalent project planning software
- SAP Analytics experience highly regarded. PowerBI, Tableau experience advantageous
- Mechanical or Instrument/Electrical trade background advantageous
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Industries
- Current driver's license and willing to travel
