The Pacific Hotels Group is an owner operator of Accommodation Hotels around Australia and continuing to grow through acquisitions via our Pacific Hotel Brand. We are seeking a full time Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team in our Nedlands Office.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and supporting the Management Accountants, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing group hotels Accounts Receivable
- Processing group fortnightly payroll, in liaison with HR
- Assist with all EOM procedures including Balance Sheet reconciliatoin, accrual journals etc
- Assist with cashflow forecasting
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- Provide business support to each hotel management team and key stakeholders
- Assist with financial auditing requirements
- Manage customer enquiries
- Ad hoc accounts and administrative duties, as required
Skills and experience
- Min 3 years experience working in Accounting Department in a hotel and/or hospitality setting.
- Highly organised with demonstrable time management skills and proven ability to multi-task is essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
- Previous experience working with hotel PMS such as Opera and Room Master will be highly regarded
