Assistant Accountant

An excellent opportunity now exists for an Assistant Accountant /Junior Accountant or Bookkeeper to join a large and successful business located in Nudgee.

Working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller your duties will include:

• Bank reconciliations
• GST and BAS preparation
• Review and analysis of project costs
• Analysis of expenditure
• Payroll tax returns
• Processing invoices and supporting the AP team
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable
• Liaising with external auditors around year end
• Assisting with systems maintenance and administration

Candidates may have a degree of Cert IV qualifications in accounting, or may also will also be considered 'qualified by experience' if you have no formal qualifications but many years experience in a similar role.
