We are never, whether we know it or not, more than a few steps from an innovative ITW solution.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Accountant will provide support to the wider finance team by assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reporting, and comply with ITW policies, internal control, and external compliance requirements.Dandenong South LocationPrimary Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations for all entities (AU & NZ)
• Creation of journals and reviewing financial inputs for accuracy
• Performing monthly reconciliations, investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist in the monthly FRIDA reporting to US
• Participate in scheduled and unscheduled reviews and audits, both internal and external
• Assist in other ITW reporting
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business with an Accounting Major
• CPA/CA Qualified or studying/working towards
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Sound technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Demonstrated experience in meeting tight deadlines
