About the position
Supercheap Auto are looking for an Assistant Category Manager – Special Orders, who will be responsible for supporting the Category Manager to maximise our commercial outcomes in line with the Category and Business Unit strategy. The location of this role will be dependant on the successful candidate.
Each day will bring something different but key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Assisting in delivering sales, profit and agreed category deliverables
- Supporting effective product management across the Category
- Ensuring category performance is compliant and aligned to regulations
- Providing accurate and timely administrative support to optimise category performance
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Supporting effective product management across the Category within both Retail and Ecommerce
- Providing accurate and timely administrative support to optimise category performance within both Retail and Ecommerce
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a results driven and outcome focused individual, you will also bring:
- 2 + years experience in Retail and/or Category Management
- Communication Skills and relationship management skills
- Experience in change Management
- Negotiation and analytical Skills
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business disciplines – desired
- Recognised training in Category Management and / or Australian Consumer Law – desired
