Assistant Childcare Educator

Requirements for role:

· Must hold an approved ECEC qualification (Certificate 3, Diploma, Graduate Diploma in early Childhood Education and care or Bachelor/Masters of Education) or an ACECQA assessed equivalent

· Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma (support can be provided to obtain this)

· Current WWCC (employee)

· Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework

· KindyHub knowledge an advantage

· Experience in written documentation and planning in relation to children's learning and development

· Willingness to learn

· Passionate for developing positive learning outcomes for children

Position Objectives:

· Contribute to the planning of an education program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age.

· To work co-operatively with other educators, families and early childcare professionals to provide a safe, caring, engaging and stimulating environment for children attending the service.
