TEN Recruitment are working with one of WA’s largest home building companies who are looking for an Assistant Construction to join their team
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Residential Site Supervisor to make a move up into a more senior management role and join this long standing and successful construction company!
Your new role will include:
Assisting the Building Manager
Ensuring construction takes place in the projected timeframe and all milestones are met
Management of all slab starts
Reporting on job progress
Liaising with stakeholders in regard to the progress of the build
Ensure construction meets current building codes and building standards
Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in the residential building industry
The ability to manage the build from start to handover
A solid understanding of relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and current Workplace and Safety requirements
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Excellent communication and organisation skills
The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
A keen eye for detail
A network of trades and suppliers
A great work ethic and can-do attitude.
