The Opportunity
We’re seeking a capable Assistant Development Manager (or established Development Manager looking for a change!) to work with a small team and clients to conceptualise and deliver quality land subdivisions and residential developments that contribute to great communities.
This is an opportunity to apply and further develop your skills and experience throughout the complete development process. You can expect to be involved in a range of activities including:
Conceptualising and planning developments
Preparing project budgets, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
Engaging and managing project team members, consultants and contractors
Managing the approval process
Developing and overseeing implementation of sales and marketing strategies
Stakeholder relationship management
Project management, including programming of civil construction works.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have some level of experience in land subdivisions and residential developments, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for rapid personal and professional growth. You will also have:
Commercial acumen and, preferably, an understanding of the Western Sydney property market
Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience (preferably including working knowledge of land subdivision feasibilities, the Authority Approval process and, preferably, proficiency in Estate Master)
(Preferably) Tertiary qualifications in a property or construction related discipline
Experience leading or contributing directly to relevant development projects (including project budgeting and forecasting, team and contractor management)
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
A “hands on” approach to work, combined with considerable personal drive
A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
Candidates with current or previous experience at Development Manager level are also welcome to apply.
