About the role:
- Oversee regional triage and allocations of clients referred to the region.
- Manage the allocations and case loads
- Provide advice on escalations applying a holistic risk assessment framework
- Stakeholder engagement
- Identifying clients in need of escalated intervention and ensure relevant response are undertaken - liaise where indicated - emergency services, hospital, security and other organisations as required
- Maintain clinical records and client status reports in a timely manner
- Supporting staff involved in matters requiring escalation
- Providing support and direction to outreach program coordination team - including relevant training, consultation or advice
- Regional contact in terms of policy, procedures and training
- Staff supervision and support - training, development, management and performance management
About you:
- You will have previous experience working in a leadership or management role
- You will have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA) or Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- You will have Working with Children (WWC) ideally, or have it granted before commencing the role
- You will have experience in a similar clinical role
- You will have extensive case management experience
- You will be passionate about clinical psychology and social work to support mental health initiatives
