Our client seeking an Assistant Director, People Support and Wellbeing to join their agency. This is a contract role for 6 months. The role is based in Canberra and Open for Australian citizens and permanent residents.
Reporting to the Director of People Support and Wellbeing, the Assistant Director will be a member of the People and Culture leadership team and will assist with the day-to-day delivery of employee Support and Wellbeing services including implementation of the new Wellbeing Plan and procurement of associated services; facilitating investigations into misconduct; and injury management oversight.

- Hybrid working arrangements ( 3 days in office and 2 days WFH).
- Open for Australian citizens and permanent residents.
- Paxus pays weekly.
To be successful in this role you must:
- Provision of technical advice and guidance to the agency's staff and managers on misconduct, injury management and Wellbeing support services.
- Leading the implementation of the agency's Wellbeing Plan and procurement services to support the initiatives of the project.
- Undertaking misconduct processes including associated investigations and sanctions recommendations.
- Assisting with compensation and non-compensation processes.
- Preparing complex briefing materials, correspondence, briefs and reports.
- Form productive partnerships with internal and external clients to facilitate successful
- Working collaboratively across P&C and contributing to the effective delivery of branch and section functions and priorities.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Experience in misconduct and injury management processes.
- Experience in ACT Public Service is highly desirable.
- Qualifications or experience in Human Resources management or a similar field will be highly regarded.
