About the position

As an Assistant Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of Wests New Lambton. Working closely with the Duty Manager, you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the club. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the management of club operations, including staff supervision, rostering, and daily administrative tasks.
  • Providing outstanding customer service to club members and guests, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Ensure compliance to Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, ILGR Regulations and Gaming Machine Act.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of club facilities.
  • Supporting the implementation of Wests policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and club profitability.
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required.
  • Remaining up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant legislative changes.
This Full Time opportunity will require availability across a 7 day rotating roster. As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered across full operational hours of our gaming floor. Gaming operations run from 10am through to early hours of the morning.

Please be advised, this role requires a Criminal Check to be undertaken prior to starting the role.

Certifications required: RSA, RCG
