Located at our global head office in Kilsyth, Melbourne, we are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team to support operations, this is a permanent position and is available for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for a career role with a product focus in a globally expanding organisation.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel.
Ability to ask questions, get to the bottom of a problem and provide solutions.
JDE or major ERP Experience would be highly regarded.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic and goal orientated
The ability to work with minimal supervision and meet set deadlines.
Ideally 2-5+ years' experience and either commenced or planning to start CA/CPA program.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Preparing timely and accurate published monthly Management reports.
Completion and review of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including timely clearance of reconciling items.
Liaison point to operations teams.
FBT preparation and submission.
Stocktake planning and support.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the wider Finance department as required.
Undertake ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
