What this opportunity involves:
A fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic Finance professional to join our team to be our Assistant Management Accountant.
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will assist in the management and reporting of your assigned business streams.
The role will be based out of our Sydney Head Office in the CBD.
What this role involves:
Assist with the revenue recognition reviews – work with regional Finance teams at month end to ensure all reviews are complete.
Work with business to ensure work in progress is maintained to assist in forecasting.
Manage the compliance with JLLs global accounting policies
Liaising with the business on debtor collection, support with resolving issues
Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives
Actively involved with the business month-end processes including P&L review, calculation of accruals/prepayments, review of accuracy and preparation of journals – including travel & entertainment and Marketing cost review.
Assist business with tracking recoverable cost’s, reconciling and reporting on prefunded marketing by project.
Assist with reviewing commission statements and correcting fee split as required and revenue accounting adjustments as required.
Assist with asset register management
Involve with the monthly and quarterly expense variance analysis and commentary
Assist with monthly management reporting for BL’s
Assist with the preparation of the monthly forecasting for the business
Assist with periodic forecasting 6+6 and 9+3 and annual budgets.

Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
Achievement or near completion of professional qualifications (CPA / CA) will be highly regarded
Prior experience in management accounting in a complex commercial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with and manage a diverse range of stakeholders
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Experience using PeopleSoft would be desirable but is not essential
Sound proficiency in Excel
Self-starter with ability to work autonomously
