We are looking for an Assistant Principal located in the Northern Rivers Region of NSW in the lovely coastal area of Lismore.

- Co-responsible leadership role in fostering the school as a center of identity and mission, inspiring students' faith journey
- Key member of the school leadership team, supporting a triad of leadership alongside the Principal and Assistant Principal - Learning & Teaching
- Exercises a unique professional relationship of support and loyalty to the principal's leadership, shaping and implementing the school's vision
- Directly responsible to the Principal, capable of deputizing in their absence
- Works closely with the principal to navigate complex aspects of school leadership and enhance professional learning
- Contributes to collaborative decision-making processes and leads in planning, implementing, and evaluating school improvement goals
- Exemplary teacher providing a role model for quality learning and learning
- Integrates Catholic beliefs and practices into all aspects of teaching and learning
- Leading and implementing the School and Diocesan Strategic Plans and Accountabilities
- Ensures the promotion of an effective, engaging and innovative school evangelising community
- Building the capacity of teachers for school evangelisation and discipleship formation
- Contributes to the development of co-responsible leadership
- Creates and maintains supportive and safe learning environment
- Collaborative Negotiated Leadership
- Practising Catholic who witnesses to Catholic beliefs and practices.
- Relevant teaching and post graduate qualifications at Masters Level in Religious Education Theology / Pastoral Ministry, or willingness to obtain.
- Compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy. This includes beginning appropriate study courses in regards teaching Religious Education (Category D) and Leadership (Category E).
- Broad experience in Religious Education/Pastoral Care and/or Pastoral Ministry and leading collaborative cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate Catholic beliefs and practices into all aspects of learning and teaching, including Catholic Social Teaching.
- Demonstrated high levels of organisation, communication and problem solving skills.
- Experience in leading initiatives that focus on improving mission, engagement and wellbeing outcomes for all students.
- Success in building the capacity of teachers for School Evangelisation and discipleship formation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead processes to develop effective, engaging and innovative school evangelising community (including Student Evangelisation and Catechesis).
