Situated within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, the Bond University Medical Program is comprised of two sequential degrees, the Bachelor of Medical Studies and the Doctor of Medicine. The program has full accreditation with the Australian Medical Council and places a strong emphasis on the quality of student experience. The Quality Indicators of Learning and Teaching (QILT) rankings have listed Bond University Medicine number 1 in Australia for student satisfaction with teaching quality, student support and skill development.
This position provides an ideal opportunity for an individual with capacity to promote a culture of excellence in medical education and research with a particular emphasis on assessment.
About the person:
With the leadership of senior academic staff, the successful candidate will:
- be responsible for strategic and operational priorities to manage and develop assessment processes within the pre-clinical years (Bachelor of Medical Studies) of the Medical Program
- be expected to work collaboratively with the existing Academic Assessment Lead and other Medical Program staff to design and implement authentic assessments
- ensure continued development of quality assurance, technologies, academic professional development, and evaluation in this area
- contribute to teaching and research in relevant areas in collaboration with Faculty and Program staff.

Assistant Professor A
The salary for the position commences at $144,783.95 (Full-time Equivalent) plus 10.5% superannuation per annum.
Assistant Professor B
The salary for the position commences at $122,074.88 (Full-time Equivalent) plus 10.5% superannuation per annum.
The salary for the position will be negotiated with the successful candidate and will be commensurate with skills and experience. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
