SalaryRoadTek Gold Coast Operations are seeking a high performing and innovative Assistant Project Managers to join the team on a permanent basis.
Gold Coast Operations is a multi-faceted workforce working in a uniquely challenging environment. We undertake construction, maintenance, and repairs of assets, including civil and electrical, road maintenance, pavement rehabilitation and emergency response.
In the role of Assistant Project Manager - Electrical you will support the project management team with the delivery of assigned electrical activities, such as Intelligent traffic systems (ITS), traffic signals and road lighting. You will undertake project management activities including estimating, development of project documents, quality management and provide support for the project team.
Accountabilities include:
• Undertake project site assessments to confirm scope requirements.
• Research relevant standards and policies to ensure relevant information is provided to project supervisors for delivery.
• Undertake quality audits and report on project quality performance to facilitate continued development.
• As a member of the Project Team, assist with preparation of tender prices by providing expert specialist input and advice into electrical activities, production rates, unit rates and local information.
• Provide operational and technical expertise and advice to the business unit, on electrical matters relating to roadway lighting and traffic management systems.
Mandatory requirements:
• Applicants must possess a current, valid Queensland "C" class driver's licence or equivalent
• You may be required to travel to other locations to undertake activities for varying periods of time. You will be entitled to allowances for such travel.
Desirable requirements:
• Certificate IV Leadership and Management
• Certificate IV Project Management
• Demonstrated experience of installation and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems or similar equipment
• Demonstrated experience with electrical works or similar
