Job Title: Tax Business Service Assistant Manager
Company: Top Mid Tier
Location: Perth, WA, Australia
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
The Tax Business Service Assistant Manager will work closely with the Tax Business Service Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of tax services to clients. The successful candidate will manage a team of tax professionals and ensure all work is completed accurately and within the given timeframe. This position requires a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of tax professionals, providing direction and support as needed.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and within the given timeframe.
Work with the Tax Business Service Manager to develop and implement tax strategies for clients.
Review and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Respond to tax queries from clients and authorities.
Assist with tax planning and structuring for clients.
Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
Attend client meetings and build strong relationships with clients.
Assist with business development activities, including proposal writing and networking events.
Keep up-to-date with changes to tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA or CPA certification.
Minimum of 5 years experience in tax accounting or related field.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations in Australia.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide direction and support to team members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with tax software is preferred.
