About the role

The role is a crucial hire within 10x’s Business Development team, reporting into the Head of Sales APAC. This role takes accountability for generating new business opportunities across APAC and supporting existing opportunities. This is an end-to-end sales development role; building influence and the 10x brand in market, sourcing new business opportunities and relationships, designing solutions, scoping and negotiating proposals and ultimately, signing business and advancing 10x’s transformational client growth.

About you

You are a well-connected sales professional with a proven track record of being able to develop strategies and long-term plans for business development to enable 10x to secure long-term and profitable partnerships with financial services institutions in the region. You are capable of identifying and generating revenue from new business relationships, sourcing further business development opportunities through your network with senior leadership, Exco and Board members in financial services organisations across the region. You will have a clear passion for transformation and leading-edge technology solutions, being inspired to change banking to deliver better and be a service that meets the needs of customers’ digital lives.

Requirements

  • Created and maintained trusted and lasting relationships and influenced key decision makers, particularly at C-suite level in Financial Services Organisations
  • Experience in carrying individual quotas for B2B sales at an enterprise level, SaaS experience is key – core banking is advantageous
  • The energy, desire and capability to be part of a fast growth technology business developing enterprise grade software sales solutions for international and regional institutions and businesses
  • Be able to identify and drive sales opportunities and solutions by building relationships and credibility with contacts and clients
  • A team player, able to support the Business Development team on existing opportunities, RFP processes etc
  • Able to demonstrate strong growth in new business development driving net new logo acquisition amongst all tiers of financial institutions and FinTech clients
  • An understanding of the issues facing financial institutions across the region regarding their digital transformation journeys.
  • Able to help financial institutions assess fit-for-purpose business solutions and customer value propositions while guiding response teams.
  • Ability to maximize available resources and skills and proactively seek to fill gaps that would enable creative ideas for the proposal.
  • Knowledge and experience of Financial Institutions/FinTech procurement practices and sales lifecycle processes, typical for selling enterprise platforms into financial institutions.
  • The ability to quickly understand prospective client’s needs and to competently communicate both the technical and commercial aspects of propositions.
  • Be able to demonstrate having built sustainable contracts with both short term build and enduring longer term commercial success and value, with appropriate mitigation where required
