About the opportunity

The 1300SMILES Smithfield practice is located in the bustling Smithfield Shopping Centre; with high foot traffic daily allowing our providers to build their books effortlessly. The practice is well equipped with top-of-the-line surgical equipment and high sterilisation and infection control standards ensuring exceptional care for all existing and new patients.

While you are not at work, why not take advantage of the atmospheric region of Cairns. Take a hike through the stunning tropical rainforests or explore the famous great barrier reef. However, be sure to visit the prestigious hospitality spots which are renowned nationwide for the excellent cafes and restaurants at every street corner!

 About you

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent
• 2+ years prior experience in an Associate Dentist role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Current AHPRA and ADA registration and professional indemnity insurance
• Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency with all aspects of general dentistry
• Patient orientated care
• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

The following duties include but are not limited to:

• Comprehensive treatment planning in consultation with patients
• Provide quality dental care to patients
• Strong focus on oral health for all our patients
• Comply with all ADA guidelines
• Flexibility around shifts.
