Job Description
What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner for APAC, you will be the key Finance point of contact for Global Markets Australia by providing high quality financial insight and analysis to business leaders to enable them to make accurate and informed decisions.
What will you do?
Key Finance point of contact for Global Markets (GM) businesses in Australia
Oversight of Daily PL & decomposition for GM Australia
Review, analysis and commentary for GM Australia specific management packs
Monthly forecasting for GM Australia
Responsible for annual plan and outlook for GM Australia
Finance representative at GM Australia management meetings
Ongoing connection with GM Australia business stakeholders
Project work specific to line of business
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Qualified finance or accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, CIMA, CFA, other)
Experience in Financial Services in a financial planning and analysis role and / or Product Control role
Advanced Excel skills, including in depth knowledge of formulas (VBA would be a bonus) and ideally familiar with financial models
Experience in performing financial analysis and reporting key insights
Ability to communicate and present to senior executives within the business
Nice-to-have
Previously worked in Global Markets Product Control role or experience in Global Markets businesses from a Performance Management perspective
